Are we competing with WhatsApp?
Of course not. As you are aware customers choose what platform they want to use based on their own unique needs. However you will also notice that some customers have various platform accounts, WhatsApp, Facebook, Viber, Skype, etc.
Firstly TelOne Talk+ does more things than WhatsApp by bridging the offline and online world. You can only call people online via WhatsApp. TelOne Talk+ allows you to call anyone whether they online or offline.
Which one they use more often depends on how many of their family and friends are available at any given time on that platform. This is where TelOne Talk+ comes in. TelOne brings people together by making the world smaller. By bringing the local network calling component to the social media platform of TelOne Talk+, we believe we will eventually have more Zimbabweans on the platform over time. We will also leverage other content affiliates such that of Zimbabwe's first social media platform called ZimUpdate.com.
Like any other social media platform the challenge is that of adoption, in other words we believe we have enough reasons for Zimbabweans across the globe to adopt Talk+. But of course one of the most exciting challenges is for us and our partners to continue innovating and coming up with additional and creative reasons for people to come on board.
Any advantages over WhatsApp?
